Beyerdynamic Xelento
I personally like Beyerdynamic due to their variety of different product line. Also, unlike Sennheiser and Audio Technica, they constantly work on their sound signature to meet our expectations. At CES 2017, they released three new products: Custom Game, MMX 300 2nd Gen., and Xelento. I will focus on Xelento today because I didn’t had enough time to cover all three today. Beyerdynamic promises an authentic and intense music experience, and I could never agreed more. Before we jump to audio quality, let’s go over specs little bit more.
Xelento features Tesla dynamic transducer, frequency response ranging from 8 to 48,000 Hz, three universal in line control buttons, 1.3m or 4.2ft detachable cable, weighs 7g or 0.25oz per pair, and comes with bunch of other accessories (image shown below), extra detachable cable with out in-line control, 7 pairs of silicone eartips, 3 pairs of Comply eartips, case, cable clip, and a manual.
Sound Quality
Sound signature of Xelento is great for pop and RnB musics where there are many components within the music. Bass is strong, punchy, and accurate; Probably the best bass for in-ear headphone. Mids are slightly overwhelming for classical, but does not effect the quality of vocal. So, if you are definitely not a classical person, Xelento is really an excellent choice.
