I visited Nelson El Dorado Canyon (aka. Ghost Town) with my friend, Bianca and Shannen. They also introduced me two new faces, Kole and Zachary. Zachary is an experienced model while Kole is totally new to this field.
Heavy overcast and slight wind was a perfect weather for us to do the shoot. We were little bit worried about the rain at first, but it’s Vegas, it won’t rain. I thought I was well prepared, but I ended up filling my both 32GB and 16GB SD cards. Total of 40GB raw NEF files and rest 6GB backup JPEG files.
I used Nikon D750 along with the nifty fifty, 50mm f/1.8G, and 80-200mm f/2.8D for this photoshoot. I’m so glad that I made a right choice to choose 80-200 f/2.8 over the 70-200 f/4. This is super sharp, even at f/2.8, and the extra stop of light really helps for portrait shooters like me.
Enough with the words, let’s get to the images.
Huge thanks to Shannen, Bianca, Kole, and Zachary for making this photoshoot possible.
